In 2016, we were awarded the Visiting Fellowship to spend a month researching and writing at The American Library in Paris!
We launched Lofty Ambitions on July 1, 2010 to focus on aviation and space exploration, science, and writing as a couple. We post something every Wednesday and have since the blog’s inception.

Douglas Dechow co-authored The Craft of Librarian Instruction and SQUEAK: A Quick Trip to Objectland, co-edited Intertwingled: The Work and Life of Ted Nelson, and is the Science Librarian at Chapman University.
