About Us

Our latest publication is in Air & Space Magazine (August 2011). We wrote about the Roger and Roberta Boisjoly Challenger Disaster Collection at Leatherby Libraries.

We also have a great spread in Chapman Magazine (Spring 2011, pp. 16+) based on our not-launch trip to the Space Coast in November.

Anna Leahy is the author of Constituents of Matter, which won the Wick Poetry Prize, and serves as Director of Tabula Poetica, including the annual fall reading series. Her poems appear widely, and her essay “Strange Attraction: John Wayne and Me” is in the Spring 2011 issue of The Southern Review. She is also the leader of The Submission Mission at She Writes. See more info at http://www.amleahy.com.

Douglas Dechow co-authored SQUEAK: A Quick Trip to Objectland and is the Science Librarian at Chapman University. Doug recently was awarded a scholarship at the Norman Mailer Center to work on his novel and a scholarship to attend the Digital Humanities Summer Institute. See more info at http://www.douglasdechow.com.

Together, Doug and Anna write about aviation, science in the twentieth century, and other topics. Their articles appear in the journal Curator and the book Bombs Away. Who knows what’s next!
